Hi, I’m Lucas.
Lucas Cooper-Bey, The San Diego AI Guy. Dad. La Mesa local. The guy your friends mean when they say “you should talk to my AI guy.”
I put twenty thousand people out of a plane and every one landed. Before this I packed parachutes for a living: over 20,000 tandem jumps as an instructor and certified rigger. A rigger is the person who assembles the system someone’s life depends on, inspects it, and signs a name to it. That’s still the job description.
It started with neighbors and local business owners, and turned into this: one person who shows up, listens to how your business runs, and puts AI to work on the parts that eat your day. Different industries, same pattern: a few tasks eating the week that a system should be handling.
I also run San Diego AI Studio, a builders community for people who would rather learn this than buy it, and Automation Flow Professionals, the company on every agreement. This site is The San Diego AI Guy: you talk to me. The agreement is with AFP.
When something breaks, I fix it. And when the answer is “you don’t need AI for that,” I’ll say so. I live here, my kids grow up here, and I’d like San Diego’s businesses to get the same AI advantage big companies pay departments for.
