Is the first conversation free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Twenty minutes, no charge. You leave knowing whether there is a leak worth fixing, whether you are already full, and what to do next. It is not the three-document audit. Working out what a leak is worth on paper is the paid Profit Leak Audit.

What is The Profit Leak Audit?

I spend a week inside your business. You keep three documents: the Shop Book, the Decision Log, and the Roadmap. The booking fee is $750. The second $750 is billed when I hand you the documents. That is the $1,500 audit. After the audit and we start the build within 30 days, that $1,500 comes off the build. A $5,000 build is then $3,500. If I cannot determine a way to save or earn at least $15,000 over the next year, there is no further billing after the first $750, and we go our separate ways. I do four a month.

Do you ever return the booking fee?

Accepted Answer

No. I never return money. The $750 booking fee pays for the week I spend in the business. If I start that week and discover the business cannot save at least $15,000 or grow sales at least $15,000 over the next 12 months, the project does not continue, and I do not bill the second $750.

Do I need to already be using AI tools before we start?

Accepted Answer

No. Some owners already paid for ChatGPT or another tool and never saw it on the profit and loss statement. Some have not started. The free call still works either way. We start from how the business runs, not from what software you already own.

No. The San Diego AI Guy is me, Lucas Cooper-Bey: one person you talk to, two products, a free 20-minute call. Automation Flow Professionals is the company on the contract and the invoice. San Diego AI Studio is the builders community, for people who would rather learn this than buy it.

What happens after the system is handed off?

Every build includes 30 days of support after handoff. After that, an optional monthly care plan covers monitoring, fixes, and improvements, with no lock-in. If you take the build and never call again, that is fine. The documentation is written so a normal employee can follow it.

Claude (including Claude Code and the Agent SDK), OpenAI (GPT and Codex), xAI Grok, Google Gemini, Whisper, Next.js, React, TypeScript, Vercel, Cloudflare Pages and Workers, Neon Postgres, Qdrant, Stripe, Playwright, Remotion, Apify, and local models on hardware I own. Systems are built on this stack directly rather than assembled from no-code automation subscriptions.

Will AI replace my employees?

No. The systems take repetitive work off the team so they can spend their time on customers. The usual outcome is an owner or office manager getting back hours that were going to phone tag and data entry.
